Isabel Pelaez, M.S. CCC-SLP
Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (English/Spanish) / Clinic Director
Isabel holds a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Lamar University since 2014. After receiving her certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), she went on to work with children ages 0-21 in the Houston area in private practices, and home health settings, where she has also served as supervisor to Speech Language Pathologist Assistants and Speech Language Pathologist-Interns. Her specialties and areas of interest include: A sensory approach to language development, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, and language development in children within the spectrum. Isabel has experience providing evaluation and treatment of speech, receptive/expressive and pragmatic language, cognition and swallowing in children and adults in English and Spanish.
Isabel is frequently attending educational seminars and training to stay current with the latest research in order to expand her skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist, and provide the most innovative and effective therapy to her patients. She holds a certification in Sensory Integration from The University of Southern California
Cristina Gill, M.S. CCC-SLP
Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (English/Spanish)
Cristina holds a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Lamar University since 2011. After receiving her certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) she has worked in skilled nursing facilities, public schools, private practices and acute care hospitals in the Houston area. Her specialty area/areas of interest include feeding and swallowing disorders in children and adults and Orofacial Myofuntional Therapy. Cristina has experience providing evaluation and remediation of speech, receptive/expressive language, cognition and swallowing in children and adults in English and Spanish.
Cristina is constantly updating her skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist through education seminars, and professional development to provide the most innovative and effective therapy.
Karen Rangel, B.S., SLP-Assistant
Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist - Assistant
Karen Rangel moved from Laredo to Houston, TX and has worked as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathology Assistant since 2015. She received her Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas A&M International Universtiy in 2014. Upon completing her degree, she went on to work in the public school setting, clinical, home-health, adult day habilitation, and private practice. She has gained experience in the field of speech language pathology by providing treatment for expressive/ receptive and pragmatic language, cognitive disorders, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), articulation, and fluency to pediatric and adult patients with an array of diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Apraxia, social skills, and hearing loss.
Karen continues to further her career by continuously updating her skills as a speech-language pathologist assistant through educational seminars and professional development. She is passionate and enthusiastic about working with the pediatric population and is deeply committed to providing the highest standard of service to all patients and their families.
Sarah Siddiqi, SLP-Assistant
Speech Language Pathologist - Assistant
A native to Houston, Sarah received her Bachelors of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Houston in 2015. Sarah went on to work as a teacher in Elementary Schools, and joined the team in at Momentum Therapy Center in 2019. Sarah gained her clinical hours from a pediatric speech clinic that specialized in Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC), and has gained extensive experience in AAC skills. She has worked with patients with a variety of diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Downs Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy. Sarah continues to further her skills by attending professional development seminars and continuing education classes, and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of her patients and their families.
Tatyana Forero, B.S., SLP-Assistant
Bilingual Speech Language Pathology - Assistant
Tatyana is a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant who graduated from the University of Houston in 2018, and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Prior to joining the team at Momentum Therapy, she worked as a TA at a speech and hearing clinic where she gained experience and was introduced to children with hearing impairments. Tatyana volunteers at a church where she spends evenings with children of special needs. Tatyana enjoys working with children of all ages who are facing a variety of communication challenges throughout their life. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality of service to clients and their families. Tatyana plans to continue growing and furthering her skills by attending current professional seminars and continuing educational classes.
Jeremy Gardner, OTR/L, LAc.
Is a licensed Occupational Therapist and is nationally certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Jeremy is also certified in aquatic therapy. He earned his master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Mercy college in Dobbs Ferry N.Y in 2004. IN 2008, he completed a Master of Occupational Therapy, with a specialty in pediatrics, at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. He is an inventor of 2 sensory integration swings now produced by Southpaw Enterprises. Jeremy integrates Chinese Medicine into practice of occupational therapy. Jeremy has worked in various adult and pediatric settings.
Jacob Boudreaux, COTA
Occupational Therapist - Assistant (COTA)
Working as an occupational therapist assistant (COTA) for over 6 years in various roles throughout his career. Jacob has a natural passion for working with diverse groups, communities, and individuals. He specializes in neurological disorders, modalities for pain management, muscle manipulation, stretches, and creative therapeutic approaches. His experience is focused on inpatient treatment, serving the geriatric, pediatric, and bariatric population and he is specialized in stroke rehabilitation with NEURO-INFRAH training. His most recent focus consists of an independent mobile massage business, as well as the pediatric population, specializing in kids with cerebral palsy, autism, developmental delay, and down syndrome. He works diligently to assist the supervising Occupational Therapist while maintaining a level of creativity and innovation to each treatment session.
Bilingual Client Coordinator
Dora has been an HR Generalist for over 10 years and an Executive Assistant for 8 years. She retired from the Oil & Gas Industry working mainly in a manufacturing facility, recruiting, onboarding, training and handling of all employee confidential records. As Executive Assistant she supported business directors with schedules, travel and special projects. Her new endeavor is learning a new process of billing in the medical field. She has a passion for handling the prompt resolution to all inquiries from management, employees and patients in a professional yet friendly manner.
Bilingual Front Desk Receptionist
Gracie was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She joined Momentum Therapy Center in August 2019 as a Bilingual Front Desk Receptionist. She graduated from Waltrip High School in 2005. After receiving her high school diploma, she dedicated herself as a Customer Service Representative by prioritizing, multi-tasking and completing project goals. She the has evolved with extensive experience with all administrate and Chiropractic Assistant tasks, including scheduling and correspondence. She is dynamic, and highly motivated professional that has great interest in helping others and working with both adults and children of all ages.
