Isabel Pelaez, M.S., CCC-SLP
Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (English/Spanish)
Isabel holds a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Lamar University since 2014. After receiving her certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), she went on to work with children ages 0-21 in the Houston area in private practices, and home health settings, where she has also served as supervisor to Speech Language Pathologist Assistants and Speech Language Pathologist-Interns. Her specialties and areas of interest include: A sensory approach to language development, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, and language development in children within the spectrum. Isabel has experience providing evaluation and treatment of speech, receptive/expressive and pragmatic language, cognition and swallowing in children and adults in English and Spanish. Isabel is frequently attending educational seminars and training to stay current with the latest research in order to expand her skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist, and provide the most innovative and effective therapy to her patients. She holds a certification in Sensory Integration from The University of Southern California

Cristina Gill, M.S., CCC-SLP
Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (English/Spanish)
Cristina holds a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Lamar University since 2011. After receiving her certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) she has worked in skilled nursing facilities, public schools, private practices and acute care hospitals in the Houston area. Her specialty area/areas of interest include feeding and swallowing disorders in children and adults and Orofacial Myofuntional Therapy. Cristina has experience providing evaluation and remediation of speech, receptive/expressive language, cognition and swallowing in children and adults in English and Spanish. Cristina is constantly updating her skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist through education seminars, and professional development to provide the most innovative and effective therapy.

Rachel Watson, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech Language Pathologist
Rachel holds a Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Baylor University since 2020. Rachel has experience working in skilled nursing facilities, outpatient rehab facilities, and private practices. Since receiving her certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), Rachel has been working here at Momentum Therapy Center. Rachel has experience in providing evaluation and remediation of speech, receptive/expressive language, cognition, swallowing, voice disorders, executive function, and social skills as well as augmentative & alternative communication intervention in children and adults with an array of diagnoses such as, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, Aphasia, Progressive Neurological Disorders, and Apraxia. Rachel is constantly updating her skills as a Speech Language Pathologist through education seminars, and professional development to provide the most innovative and effective therapy for her patients. She is passionate about making a difference in her patients' lives by helping them to find their voice and their ability to communicate their wants and needs effectively.

Vanessa Jones, M.S., CCC-SLP
Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (English/Spanish)
Vanessa holds a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University since 2017 and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Rice University since 2015.
After achieving certification of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), Vanessa worked in outpatient pediatrics as an SLP-A supervisor and treating therapist, assessing and treating children of all ages in a clinical setting. She is experienced in working with a variety of language and communication disorders in the areas of speech sound production, developmental language disorders, and speech fluency disorders. Not only is Vanessa passionate about language and working with the pediatric population, but she also strives to make her sessions fun and engaging for her patients. Vanessa is committed to evidenced-based practice and using play and positive reinforcement to build on language and communication skills.
She is dedicated to furthering her knowledge in the areas of augmentative & alternative communication, feeding, swallowing, and motor speech disorders, and to staying up to date on methods of evaluation and intervention. Vanessa strives to provide effective and compassionate care to patients and their families.

Julia Sebesta, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech Language Pathologist
Julia holds a Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Christian University since 2017. Julia has experience working in public schools serving elementary and middle school students, in pediatric outpatient clinics, and in an outpatient voice care center. After receiving her certificate of clinical competence from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), she went on to work with children in the public school system in Fort Worth, TX, where she also served as a supervisor to Speech Language Pathologist-Interns. Julia has experience in providing evaluation and remediation of speech, receptive/expressive language, fluency, voice disorders, feeding/swallowing, augmentative and alternative communication, and social communication intervention in children and adults with an array of diagnoses such as, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, Emotional Disorders, and other associated medical diagnoses. Julia values providing patient centered services through looking at the whole person and individualizing therapy to each client’s unique needs. Julia is continually learning and growing her skills as a Speech Language Pathologist through educational seminars, state and national conventions, and professional development in order to stay up to date on the latest research and to find the most effective interventions for her patients.

Valeria, Garza, B.S. SLP-Assistant
Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist - Assistant (English/Spanish)
Valeria Garza graduated from Texas A&M International University in 2019, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has since worked as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for Houston, TX. For the first two years in Houston, she provided services through a home health company where she specialized in expressive & receptive language, articulation, cognitive disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) with the pediatric population. This allowed Valeria to work with an array of diagnosis such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Apraxia, Pragmatics, and Hearing Loss. Valeria joined our team in May of 2021 and continues to advance her skills as a Bilingual SLP-Assistant by attending educational seminars and professional development programs. She is extremely passionate about her career and strives to provide a fun, effective, and engaging session every visit for both the patients and family members.

Brooke Davenport, B.S., SLP-Assistant
Speech Language Pathologist - Assistant
Brooke Davenport graduated from Texas State University in 2019, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Brooke joined our team in March of 2022. She has gained experience by providing treatment for expressive, receptive, articulation, phonological, and pragmatic language in pediatric and school-age children. Brooke continues to advance her skills as an SLP-Assistant by attending educational seminars and professional development. She is passionate about her career and is committed to making a difference in the lives of her patients and family members.

Maria Navarro, B.S., SLP-Assistant
Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist-Assistant (English/Spanish)
Maria graduated from the University of Houston in 2019, obtaining her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a Minor in Spanish. Since then, she has worked as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for Houston, TX. After graduating, she provided services through a private practice at patient’s homes, schools, and adult day habilitation programs. Maria gained experience in expressive & receptive language, articulation, cognitive disorders, pragmatics, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) with the pediatric and adult population. This allowed Maria to work with diverse clientele and diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Apraxia, Pragmatics, and Hearing Loss. Maria continues to advance her skills as a Bilingual SLP-Assistant by attending educational seminars and professional development programs. She is strongly passionate and caring about making an impact and helping her patients be able to communicate their wants and needs and is committed to providing an exciting, effective, and engaging therapy session.
